Cadence vs. A Sailboat that's 4 feet longer than us! Who's going to win? The sailing family (The Fosters) sail from Texas to the Bahamas in their Catalina 387 as they try to make a living on the run while living on a sailboat. Shroud Cay is a part of the Exuma Land and Sea Park and is the clearest water you'll find in the world! According to Wikipedia, "The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is a protected area in the Exuma Cays of the Bahamas. The protected area extends from Shroud Cay in the north to Bell Cay in the south. The vegetation consists of mangrove communities, with the east sides being clad in low scrub and the western sides with taller scrub." It's definitely not what we expected! Nassau Bahamas - the crime, the theft, the scams...we heard the reports, but it was not what we thought. We've heard time and again that Nassau is unsafe or too touristy for the likes of cruisers who travel on sailboat. We've heard not to go there - there's theft, violence, and too much tourism.
